Description
Adhesive Neoprene Sponge Tape is an economical and versatile solution for sealing all kinds of enclosures, connections and joints. This closed cell rubber based tape is comprised of neoprene rubber based compound with an aggressive acrylic adhesive on one side. It has a medium density and creates water tight seals at just 10% compression. It is also flame retardant and self-extinguishing while simultaneously possessing excellent compatibility with oil, weather and ozone.
Applications
• Sealing doors and windows on rolling stock
• Sealing joins in metal sheet (e.g. around sheds, garages or patios) • Window sealing and glazing
• Sealing light fittings
• Marine applications
• Automotive applications
• Sealing electrical boxes
• Hatch covers
• High compression gaskets for narrow and/or irregular flange faces
Storage
We suggest that you store Adhesive Neoprene Sponge Tape out of direct sunlight. The sponge is UV resistant but the peel-off paper covering the adhesive can become a little harder to remove if it is exposed to UV for prolonged periods (months).
